The event was attended by around 60 national and international participants – representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the National Bank, the Development Bank and other national institutions in Belarus – as well as numerous international experts.
Developing a sustainable loan guarantee fund is an important issue for Belarus, as it can greatly facilitate SMEs’ access to finance, thereby helping to strengthen the still relatively weak private sector.
