Presentation of the Belarusian Macroeconomic Forecast

On June 19, GET Belarus and the IPM Research Center jointly presented the „Belarusian Macroeconomic Forecast“ during a public seminar in Minsk. Representatives from different state institutions, business associations, the diplomatic community, journalists, as well as other stakeholders were invited to this event.

Welcome remarks were given by Dr. Inge Toschev (GET Belarus), Dr. Irina Tochitskaya (IPM Research Center) and Dr. Holger Rapior (German Embassy). Robert Kirchner (GET Belarus) moderated the event.

Experts from our partner institute IPM Research Center presented the main results of the Belarusian Macroeconomic Forecast, which is published twice a year in June and December. In the following debate, a lively debate among all participants evolved about the future development of the Belarusian economy.
